For nearly 200 years, quality Pilling® Instruments have been provided to surgeons across the world to help improve the standard of patient care. The Pilling® brand is especially known globally in the Cardiac, Vascular and Thoracic (CVT) and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialties with numerous proprietary instruments co-developed with leading surgeons in these fields.
Pilling® branded surgical instruments are made from 100% German and U.S. forgings to ensure the highest quality and impeccable functionality. These instruments are fully guaranteed for the quality of material and workmanship and have been subjected to an established quality control process that consists of a comprehensive product inspection that verifies the form, fit and function of all the instruments.
George P. Pilling joined a company started in 1814 that fashioned jewelry and fraternal emblems and guided the business into a new direction. As hospitals in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area needed new tools to provide improved care for their patients, the Pilling Company met that important need and established itself as one of the oldest surgical instrument manufacturer in the United States.
Today, the Pilling® brand is an important part of the Teleflex® portfolio, and continues its legacy in providing high quality, hand-crafted instrumentation that meets surgeon’s requirements.
Over the years, the Pilling® brand has maintained high standards of quality and continues to emphasize customer service and satisfaction. As surgical procedural needs change, specialty surgeons can count on Pilling® branded instruments to meet their new requirements.
