Are you seeking a lifestyle with more independence, better mobility and easier integration?
The introduction of intermittent catheterization has been a milestone in the history of urology. This development means a big step towards improved well-being and a better quality of life:
This method of bladder management truly simplifies life for many of its users in terms of independence, flexibility, mobility and integration.
Teleflex strives to find optimal solutions to make intermittent self-catheterization safe, discreet, comfortable and as easy as it can be.
Based on advanced technology and high quality standards a full range of products for intermittent self-catheterization completely focused on the needs of users is available, so that you can be assured of finding the perfect solution to meet your individual requirements.
The EasyCath™ Intermittent Catheters feature smooth, polished Soft-Eye Technology and a gently tapered tip for a more comfortable, safer insertion. The clear PVC material helps to eliminate any concerns of latex allergies. Straight Tip, Coudé Tip, and Female lengths are available.
The Rüsch® Tiemann Intermittent Catheter by Teleflex has been designed to be a helpful solution for difficult catheterization. Rüsch® Tiemann Catheters are flexible with a curved tip and relatively stiffer shaft making catheterization easier. The flexible design is achieved by modeling the tip separately and then joining it to the shaft. Each tip is color coded to indicate a specific french size and the notch on the catheter funnel helps the user maintain the curved catheter tip in the proper up position during catheterization. The catheters are made of siliconized PVC and are designed for single use only.
A hydrophilic catheter has a coating that, with the addition of water, allows virtually friction-free insertion and removal of the catheter without the use of a lubricating gel. Hydrophilic catheters may help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections by reducing trauma to the urethral mucosa.
The Rüsch® FloCath Quick™ Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter is an “all-in-one” intermittent catheter providing the ultimate convenience. The integrated package contains a FloCath® Hydrophilic Catheter with Teleflex patented handling sheath and a packet of sterile 0.9% saline. Before opening, break the sterile saline pouch to hydrate the catheter. Sterile saline is much closer to the body's natural fluids than sterile water, and the extremely lubricious coating allows for a comfortable insertion. The handling sheath provides an easy grip, allowing for touchless insertion. The sheath can also be pushed back and used as an extension to the catheter.
The FloCath Quick™ Kits give the convenience of a small, discrete system while maintaining sterility at home or on the go. The compact kit includes a single, sterile FloCath Quick™ Catheter Standard or Female, packaged complete with insertion supplies including gloves (not made with natural rubber latex), antiseptic skin prep, underpad, urine collection bag and a refuse bag.
The FloCath® Intermittent Catheter is a clear, high grade medical PVC catheter which helps to eliminate any concerns of latex allergies. The hydrophilic coating reduces friction and tissue irritation that can occur with the use of uncoated catheters. The hydrophilic coating is easily activated by soaking the catheter in water for 30 seconds, avoiding possible contamination when applying lubricant to uncoated catheters.
Teleflex offers a choice of Intermittent Catheter Closed Systems for bladder management including hydrophilic and gel coated solutions. With a catheter integrated in a collection bag for no touch catheterization and an introducer tip to bypass external bacteria, Rüsch® MMG™ Closed Systems are designed to help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and offer easy catheterization almost anywhere.
The Rüsch® MMG H2O® Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter Closed System maximizes patient comfort and helps reduce urethral trauma. The hydrophilic coating, activated by the integrated sterile 0.9% saline pouch, allows the Rüsch® MMG H2O® Catheter to glide easily through the urethra. The soft silicone introducer protects the catheter from bacteria residing in the first few centimeters of the urethra, reducing the risk of urinary tract infection. The collection bag holds 1300 ml.
The Rüsch® MMG H2O® Closed System Kit contains sterile gloves (not made with natural rubber latex), underpad, antiseptic skin prep, gauze, and refuse bag for convenient disposal.
The Rüsch® MMG™ Intermittent Catheter Closed System is clinically-proven to reduce urinary tract infections.1 For more than two decades, this product has helped to protect individuals from recurrent UTIs. Simply remove the protective cap, load the pre-lubricated catheter into the Guardian Tip™ Introducer, insert introducer into the urethra and pass catheter into the bladder. The collection bag holds 1500 ml.
Available in a full range of sizes and styles, the Rüsch® MMG™ System can meet the needs of most individuals using a closed system to manage their bladder. The Rüsch® MMG™ Closed System Kit contains sterile gloves (not made with natural rubber latex), underpad, PVP swabsticks (3), and gauze. Singles are also available.
PocketPac™ Intermittent Catheter Closed Systems include a 1300 mL collection bag and an easy to remove ring cap. The self-contained intermittent catheter closed system is fully protected within its own closed sterile field. Teleflex’s patented, soft silicone introducer tip protects the catheter from bacteria residing in the first few centimeters of the urethra, reducing the risk of urinary tract infection. The catheter is prelubricated with a water soluble lubricant for easy insertion.
The PocketPac™ Closed System Kit contains sterile gloves (not made with natural rubber latex), underpad, antiseptic skin prep, gauze, and refuse bag for convenient disposal.
